We are Chloe and David Wilcock. Our aim at Oink and Udder is to champion high welfare, organically managed, meat and milk to demonstrate a different way of farming. We believe in the value of quality ingredients traceable back to their source. We want to reconnect customers with their food and where it comes from whilst providing the best products possible.
Our pigs live happy, outdoor lifestyles. They move regularly on pasture during the spring and summer and root around woodchip piles and orchards during the autumn and winter.
Our breeding herd of Anglo-Nubian goats produce the most wonderful milk. This is shared three ways between our sister business Goatally Soaps, our milk customers and of course the goat kids who are allowed to drink their mums milk until they are weaned.
Our four wonderful cows produce top quality milk (coming soon) for both our customers and their calves. The calves live with their mums until they are ready to be weaned but they are split for a few hours each day to allow us to milk their mums once. Once the calves are fully grown they are weaned and produce the most wonderful beef.
Organic is at the heart of our ethos.
This isn’t just about the food we produce. Organic, for us, is a way of working and living in harmony with nature. The result is healthy soil, which grows healthy plants and animals, which make for healthy people. By not using synthetic inputs and encouraging natural systems, we hope to create a better future for people, animals, and the environment.
